It is so strange that people don’t notice what they see and hear. At the start of the covid scam I looked at deaths - for example on a cruise ship - and they were low despite an elderly population on the ship. I had managed care of people with drug resistant TB in Africa and the Maddie East and we didn’t have such precautions, even though this is a 100% fatal disease - there were in fact more TB deaths in 2020 than covid deaths. I also knew the WHO guidelines for dealing with infectious disease and it didn’t include social distancing and quarantining the fit and well. So I thought this is stupid, and I believed that doctors would all stand up and say, this is rubbish. Then it would all be over. After all, I was only a masters degree nurse and they were qualified doctors. That was the biggest shock to me, that doctors went along with it. They must have had some doubts, a lot of them even if not all. Now I see people believing other silly things. Men can be women although this is totally unscientific. The climate is getting hotter when it isn’t. Trump is going to change things by Christmas and all the rich oligarchs of the world will realise he has control and step down. There is no genocide in Gaza. The more illogical the discourse, the more people seem to believe it. Someone even accused me of ‘not being a true believer’ when I pointed out that Trump was surrounded by tech giants with immense wealth. Amazing. If people don’t believe in one cult they believe in another. This is the difficulty. Some people who consider themselves to be awake believe that aliens have taken over political and royal personalities! I find those who are awake yet hold a cult view on something the most difficult to deal with. Their smug smiles and their condescending language. Shiite they wait for Nigel Farage to save the world.

Very good, Judith.

One of the challenging things about cult beliefs is that those in the cult genuinely believe them. They do not realise they have been indoctrinated into a false reality. They will ardently cling to those beliefs, no matter how ridiculous.

I think you make a good point about those who claim (sometimes arrogantly) to be "awake." Often they will have seen through one deception, but then fall for others. A bit more intellectual humility is needed.

Excellent!! Consensus is control of thought. It says that the statements of the chosen elite of “true” knowledge are to be accepted as always correct. Any deviation is an outrage against “true science’. It also makes one a “science denier”. As David says, one is to accept the new dictated “reality” without question, to do so is an affront to what has been accepted by the “wise ones”. It is the "wise ones” self-selected among the elite rulers of society, who make up the “authorities” that we are constantly told to believe. To deny their “authority” is a sure sign of being self-deluded and even a danger to society. In the Nazi and communist lexicon, this rejection of their authorities, makes one an enemy of the state, a state that is the new “God".

If you look up my entry in Wikipedia, you will see that I am not to be believed because the consensus among “scientists" rejects my statements, no mater how well proven or documented are my statements, and no matter how much these observations conform with what is being experienced and can be proven. I violated the iron law of totalitarianism, which is —always accept the approved consensus; i.e. the chosen “authorities". This of course is “the new (false) reality”.

I admire people who deliberately violate the "iron laws" of totalitarianism.

For sure, to question and reject the narrative leads to isolation from even ones previous close friends as I have discovered from the earliest days of the covid era. Not a reaction I was anticipating at the time!

Ps thanks for the audio version, very useful for me as my sight isn’t good.

Great summary. The most important accent for me is 'trust your own eyes & ears' but also, to quote Eric Blair (Orwell) "we must continually re-examine your values". (It surprised me to learn recently that he was a member of the Fabian Society - perhaps he was intrigued to learn about them given the eclectic swing he underwent in his beliefs during his life? Ironically the BBC did a very good radio series on his life in the nineties!).

"Control over the narrative" (Clarke) is as imperative as it is imperial.

"Weaponized piles of money" (Couey) can do wonders, and not in a good way. The scale of the operation combined with the frequency of the messages, the egregiousness of the lie, after lie, after lie...has a cumulative effect.

It seems full spectrum dominance of the entire digital spectrum is running its course. For those who find this, it is a much appreciated respite. At the same time it's a call to get this out there further.

More people need to hear this. Thanks, David.

A thoughtful reply, thank you.

The more I listen to Couey, the more I sense we have some fundamental in common, even if I don't always understand the biology he describes.

turn up the volume PLEASE - this is barely audible!!!

David A. Hughes's avatar

Was the volume okay for Part 1? I am using new software. Perhaps there is something in the settings that I have missed.

Judith Brown's avatar

I found the volume was great. I am used to audio books - it a skill - as I am partially sighted but to me the volume was as good as audio books. I wonder if there was a problem with your receiver.

Volume on Part I - 👍🏽

Jonathan McGinlay's avatar

When I turn my phone up to full volume it's fine. I often put it on full volume for pods so I didn't see this as an issue

KFH's avatar

Thank you! I was using my lap top and really could not hear but using blue tooth and hearing aid could hear just fine on my phone.

KFH's avatar

not 100% sure but I think I recall the same frustration with Part 1 because I am very interested in what you have to say

thank you very much for paying attention to my comment and hope you can adjust the software and re release both parts so your followers can benefit from the information you have selected to share

David A. Hughes's avatar

Thanks, yes. Tech is not my strength. It's probably a simple error. I will try to rectify it for Part 3.

KFH's avatar

Jonathan McGinlay solved the volume problem for me by saying he listens on his phone so I tried that and using blue tooth via my hearing aids and turning the volume up on my phone I am now able to enjoy Part 2 and will go back and retry enjoying Part 1 the same way.

In other words, I was trying to hear on my lap top and on that device could barely hear. I'm laughing because we are all floundering around using the very technology you are encouraging us to detach from - so we can hear what you have to say. There's something hilarious going on here. I am also delighted to be hearing directly from David A. Hughes!

David A. Hughes's avatar

Haha, yes, there is an unfortunate irony about having to use primarily digital means to reach people.

Ariane's avatar

Please increase the volume.

These days, it's not enough to be a brilliant researcher, writer, podcaster and teacher, but you have to be good at tech too!! I am sure you will fix the audio issue.

They can only get totalitarian control if people join the cults they create (climate change, viruses, transhumanism). I' have come to believe that the New Age stuff, also initiated by the Rockefellers, was one of the earliest and most influential (international) cult. I also wonder, if indeed it was a cult, whether New Age ideas and practices were deliberately set up by those with totalitarian and technocratic intent in order to divert the attention of the Left away from criticisms and concerns about poverty, IMF enforced structural changes in developing countries and the growing unaccountable power of multinational corporations, tax havens, WTO, World Bank and other UN-linked international organisations...

David A. Hughes's avatar

I recommend Jacob Nordangard’s work for answers to those questions.

I understand what you mean, the New Age philosophy distracts from the reality of what is happening that people would find difficult to accept and creates a possibility for spiritual bypassing..ie. not taking real action. I believe the New Age movement pushes forwards a surface religion of the Cult, with the Theosophical Society led by Helena Blavatsky at its foundation - the culmination of esoteric research and amalgamation of many much older spiritual disciplines. Underpinning Theosophy, I think, is a fundamental idea that there is balance in the Universe, that evil is the necessary opposite of good, so neither is inherently bad. This represents a shift of moral boundaries. It contrasts with Christianity which is built from the narrative of good versus evil and striving to achieve purity of heart and thought. If you accept emotions as vibrational frequency - love is higher, and is cancelled by lower frequencies such as shame, so mastering the personal energetic state becomes critical to life. Your own beliefs shape the way you respond to external events, transmuting energy in a way that creates emotional energy inside you that is good or bad...high or low frequency. Directing and transmuting energy seems to be the key to religion.

David A. Hughes's avatar

It goes way beyond what you are suggesting. Read Nordangard's work - there are profound ties between New Age movements and the malanthropic foundations and other bad actors that wish us harm.

A great, related, book I am reading: "The Psychology of Totalitarianism" by Mattias Desmet - 2022. Recommended by Joseph Farrell on the 3rd Quarterly Wrap-Up (2025), News Trends and Stories, on the Solari Report.

David A. Hughes's avatar

Alas, I am unpersuaded by Desmet's book.

Surprising that CAF would let it be recommended in Solari given her views on it.

Ah, thank you. I will read your posts.
