Thanks for doing this. I don't entirely discount John Waters work, but I see a selective blindness in some sections of Irish Society that continue to believe that England is the cause of the their, and the World's, ills.
That has had it's advantages in the past, and now works to disinherit Irish political thought from a clear view of the current forces of oppression.
In summary, your work is much richer, and your position much stronger after that attack. I do hope that Mr Waters has also benefited from this open debate, as have I.
