Amazing amount of work here. Thank you.

Sometimes it pays to be thorough. The "mass formation" thesis cannot be allowed to stand, nor can the defamatory writings of those who defend it.

It took me a while to read it. And many don’t take the time, nor do they have the classical education that allows them to process the material. But I trust the Almighty has a way, as he protects the widow and the orphan, and the pure of heart. Thank you again for using your gifts for good, the Good.

Thank you, David, for this exceptional article! I read every word with care and attention! It took me several hours to read, so I can only imagine how many hours it took to write! Your scholarly approach and detailed references (including page numbers) is so much appreciated! I have been telling people about this article for about two weeks. I truly appreciate your dedication in seeking truth, and exposing the deeper meanings. I also had very serious misgivings about the “victim blaming’ premise of Desmet’s book, and was concerned about the praise the book was receiving, especially from certain enthusiastic close supporters. With gratitude, Pamela Richardson

Thanks for doing this. I don't entirely discount John Waters work, but I see a selective blindness in some sections of Irish Society that continue to believe that England is the cause of the their, and the World's, ills.

That has had it's advantages in the past, and now works to disinherit Irish political thought from a clear view of the current forces of oppression.

In summary, your work is much richer, and your position much stronger after that attack. I do hope that Mr Waters has also benefited from this open debate, as have I.
