Great analytic overview of the situation. I get the impression that a very large chunk of the alternative media are actually controlled opposition. After all you can spend your time telling the truth about everything but misleading the public by avoiding important topics or briefly mentioning them but generally avoiding them. To many having somebody to follow seems more important than finding the actual truth. When people lived in communities closer to the land, events in their vicinity were more obviously important, in the sanitised modern world of the west it is easier for the public to avoid looking at "distant" events because they don't understand the ramifications.
I agree entirely. Very few people are willing to do the real work to get to the truth, and they expect their preferred talking heads to do it for them. In the process, they are easily suckered by the battalions of fake dissidents.
Absolutely, and when you have been awake for a long time the frustrating thing is trying to get others to see the bigger picture. My analysis over the years (since about 2011 in my case) is that those who wake up most easily have been critical thinkers since they were very young, so had doubts/ question about every layer of indoctrination they had through school, the media etc. Also to avoid double think you need to be able to compare seemingly disconnected facts and conclusions. I have found many struggle with that even those who are fully aware of the overall agenda!
