I don't tend to separate things out into boxes, but take a view that everything influences everything else. In my opinion, we have become too reductionist and tend to focus on just "a tree", as it were, rather than "the forest". Whether this is a reflection on the overwhelming amount of information out there nowadaays, or not, but it does seem that a lot gets missed.
It also seems to lead us back to "othering" - we focus on our little groups - social groups, religious groups, etc, and this is going to take us right back again, the "us" and "them", who is in the "right" and who is in the "wrong", IF we don't become aware that that is what we are doing.

Fascinatingly, the DSM does not offer a definition of psychopathy, or classify it as a condition. Probably by design.
Personally, I am more persuaded by the theological explanation (good vs. evil).
